Networking canon mx850s

Ive got a school with a few of these. The first one networks fine can add it to the print server and it works. But any subsequent ones the network tool that finds them seems to find one then gives up. The 2nd one has an ip address and i can ping/go to its web page but i cant print to it or get the ljnetwork monitor to see it. If i add it manually as a printer just using an ip address nothing happens. Any ideas i seem tor remember i had it working before but honestly cant remember how (school had a completely new network over summer)
