Hi I need to enable 300 or so remote mailboxes. I am new to this as well so excuse my lack of knowledge.

I have this command to do it on an individual basis Enable-RemoteMailbox "new.mailbox" –RemoteRoutingAddress [email protected] I Have been told to look in to a csv I have created a csv to try this out with but I don't know what information needs to go in this CSV. So far I only have the users usernames in the CSV my heading in the CSV is Identity do I need other headings and information? I also have this command to get the information from the csv.

$Users = Import-csv C:\Temp\EnableRemoteMailbox.csv$Users | ForEach-Object {Enable-RemoteMailbox -identity $_.userprincipalname -RemoteRoutingAddress ($_.samaccountname+'@TENANT.mail.onmicrosoft.com')}

The error I get when running the command in the exchange management shell is 'Cannot bind parameter to 'Identity' because it is null

Any advice or help would be great!

Thanks

Nic

Thanks for this I'm slowly getting there now, my next issue was it couldn't find the users as it was looking at the wrong domain so worked that out to point to the correct domain for students.

I am just going through a O365 migration. During setup I made a few mistakes. Information out there can be contradictory and confusing at times but my main advice is to use Microsoft Support. They are brilliant and respond very quickly. Don't struggle trying to research as they will have the solution and will save a heap of time.
