bladedanny Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Hi All, I saw that someone had created a forgotten book post and it gave me the idea to ask about a game I've been trying to find. When I was younger I had a friend that had an RTS game that I remember really liking but not getting to play much (one of those friends who let you watch). I have no idea of the name but I'm quite into playing retro games. It was a Sci-Fi RTS about colonization. At the start you got to pick a race out of lots of alien species and human. The only other thing I can remember about it you could build roads that would enable your units to move quicker between your structures. Also this would have been around 2000-2001 Any Ideas?

Hail Kane. oh the sandbag wall trick. Just build a line (you can delete all but the furthest from your base) into your enemies base (ai only) and block all their vehicles in making it very easy lol

Don't remember the specifics (such as race selection), but remember it being a really good fun Sci-Fi RTS that was a bit dark/industrial as you describe. I played it on PS1 (I think, may have been PC though), really cool to see it open sourced and online now

I've found fond memories are sometimes best left at that. I tried to re watch the power ranges movie a while ago. Ruined that memory for me.
