Booking System Date

Hey all,

 

is there any way to change the booking system date format to show the day rather than the day, so instead of 19 October it would say Monday 19 October?

 

Also is there a way to put a little down arrow next to it to make it more obvious that you can click it?

 

I managed to change its colour but that's about all i can figure out.
