OSTicket SSO and LDAP issue

Hi all

 

I'm setting up OSTicket on a Windows Server 2012 VM, running WAMP.

 

I have the LDAP and HTTP Auth plugins installed, yesterday they were working fine, users could hit the helpdesk page and they would get automatically logged in which is exactly as I want it to be. Today, this isn't working, only for users who have already logged into OSTicket previously, anyone who hasn't is being asked to register which is not wanted.

 

I've looked on the OSTicket forums, they're horrible to use, the search is useless and for some reason I am unable to post a thread and ask for help there.

 

Does anyone have OSTicket set up like this, with SSO and auto-registration of users who may be able to offer some help/pointers?

I've narrowed this down a bit;

 

SSO is working for everyone, the issue seems to be with the auto-registration, some users are registered automatically but most are not. I cannot find any correlation between those that are being registered and those that aren't, I don't see any common themes.

 

Can anyone offer any insight as to where to look? Apache logs? PHP logs? I'm clueless on that side of things.

This is now solved

 

I found that those accounts which were being asked to register had data in the 'Telephone Number' field on their account in AD, those that were auto-registering did not. I confirmed this by removing data in that field on an account that didn't work previously.

I'm triyng to configure the same enviroment but I can't autenticate (and also auto generate) users by client sso. In osticket both plugins are configured and working. Is there some configuration I'm missing in osticket or/and IIS?
