ESXi/VSphere

Morning all,

I've been greeted this morning with a lovely error from VEEAM telling me that it's not compatible with the free version of ESXi.

Does anybody know the minimum version I have to purchase of ESXi (or the most common?) to ensure VEEAM works with it?

 

I've had a look through the options, but they don't detail very well.

You'll get a 10 day trial and you can carry on requesting free keys using the same e-mail address until you're ready to make a purchase. If it works then I imagine you can carry on using the free version of ESXi.

VMware vSphere Essentials I believe - Essentially VMware asked them to stop supporting the free version. Veeam and Free ESXi – it’s official now
