Riddlesdown Collegiate, near Purley are advertising for a technical support assistant to work in the school's creative arts centre.

 

The Creative and Performing Arts College requires a Technical Support Assistant to provide support to Drama, Music inside and outside the classroom and to maintain audio visual equipment throughout the Collegiate.

 

Duties include:

* Technical operation of school productions and events

* Preparation of resources and equipment for lessons

* Assisting teachers with practical lessons

 

The successful candidate will have experience in theatre sound, rigging, lighting and the operation of modern AV equipment. Working within a busy school environment the candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative, to tight time scales and with a flexible approach. Although this is a term time only post there will be occasions when there is a need for evening or weekend work. Work has just been completed on a new £3m development providing state of the art facilities for Music and Drama. Riddlesdown Collegiate is a highly successful Trust school with:

Scale 5 £21,805 - £23,745 pa (pro rata £19,624 - £21,370 pa) plus overtime Term Time only – 37.5 hours per week
