Before the end of this decade, the first european ExoMars 2018 rover will land on Mars in search for signs of life! But where to land ?

 

In December 2013, scientists have been tasked to propose scientifically compelling landing sites, yet allowing a safe landing and operation of the rover.

 

 

Out of the eight landing sites proposed and discussed in March 2014, four candidates have been selected for further analysis.
