indie Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I know I could just try for myself but does anyone know if this has x64 support? We use Server 2003 x64 and XP Pro x64 on our machines!
indie Posted January 16, 2006 Author Posted January 16, 2006 Learning Network Manager... is this the wrong forum?
russdev Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 no think db had a moment as for x64 think going to have to try yourself as not sure Russ
indie Posted January 16, 2006 Author Posted January 16, 2006 Hmm, just tried it and it's a no. What use is that when Microsoft and hardware vendors are rolling out 64bit software/hardware. I know 64bit is still a little way off being mainstream but there are still people who use it!
Dos_Box Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Sorry, my bad (should have looked at the forum title). I don't know. There is almost zero support or instruction for this. The install guides do not say wether X64 is supported or not. Have you tried to do it anyway yet?
indie Posted January 16, 2006 Author Posted January 16, 2006 Have you tried to do it anyway yet? Yes, it doesn't work, it just keeps asking for the disc, as soon as I give it a normal 32bit disc it's happy. Although, I can't get it to eject the Server disc so I can put XP Pro in now! Gonna try the paperclip trick but I think the drive will be in lock mode.
