Google drive sync problems.

Hi Guys,

 

I have an odd google drive sync issue.

I have the G-drive app set up on school ipads with a single login, and the g-drive sync app running on the file server pointing to a share (the idea being that this will facilitate the simple movement of files (aka photos) from the ipads to the network, plugging in has been hit and miss)

However the sync is not working properly.

• Anything I put in the server share is synced to the ipads (and the web) fine, even larger files like photos.
  
• If I create anything directly on the google drive (folders, or using google docs) sync to the server fine.
  
• But, if I upload any files either through the web interface or from the ipad (no matter how small) they won't download to the server. The app keeps saying retrying or unable to connect.
  

 

Any insight into why this is happening would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
