IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Salary: £16,708 - £17,714 pa pro rata

 

We require an IT Support Technician to support both the curriculum and administrative users throughout the school.

The successful applicant will provide prioritised technical support and advice including the creation and maintenance of accounts and user permissions; install and test new IT and network equipment, including hardware, peripherals and software according to manufacturer instructions; ensure new IT equipment is checked on arrival; diagnose and resolve basic network, software and hardware faults and perform basic maintenance repairs and upgrades; maintain the highest standard of IT in the classroom; assist with IT cabling.

In addition you will work with our trainee technicians as part of the trainees work experience placement; carry out portable appliance testing across the school and assist in the operation of the schools sound and lighting system as required.

 

This post is for 37 hours per week term time only.
