Theldron Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Hi all, We are having trouble with one of our servers in that it randomly crashes. There are no event logs to speak of but I have noticed as from the image that DNS seems quite hungry using around 470MB. The picture above is after the server has been restarted after a crash. The resource manager from the secondary DNS is using around 87MB. Image below. Am I right in thinking it is using a lot of RAM? Cheers
Joanne Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Mine is using 171MB... we have about 220 devices connected.
Theldron Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 We have about the same number of devices, but ours so much more.
Joanne Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 bizarre. Are you getting any DNS errors in event log?
Theldron Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 No we aren't getting any DNS errors at all.
