Network Discovery - GPO?

Hi All,

 

Just looked at the Network in Windows Explorer and I'm concerned that I can see other computers. Nothing appears when I click on any of them but still....

 

 

Network discovery appears to be on, I'm not sure if this is default behaviour as the discovery GPO is not configured:

 

Computer Policy\Policies\Administrative Templates\Network\Link-Layer Topology Discovery (for both options).

 

But should I disable those what effect will this have on current shares or browsing to shares if I need to?

 

The other thing that concerns me is the 'Search Active Directory' option under the menu bar!

 

Any ideas?
