Server 2012 Remote Desktop slow to connect in school

We have had a new rm cc4.5 network installed on server 2012. When trying to remote onto the servers from a windows 7 client it takes a good 30-60 seconds to connect to the servers.

 

Have also noticed our intranet hosted on one of them takes a similar time to open each time one of our users opens IE.

 

Has anyone experienced this?

 

We have two domains admin and curriculum and the intranet loads fine on the admin domain but takes its time on the curriculum. The servers are new dell r530 with 4Gb connection to core switch.

Not seen that problem here.

We had CC4.5 on a Dell R420 last October and it has been fine.

We have Cisco SG300 switches but no VLAN yet.
