nelliott Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Hi All, I'm looking for some advice, we have got a virtual FollowMe print queue, which is currently using a Sharp MFD driver. However, we have now added 3 Konica Minolta copiers 2 of which have finishers connected to them. What is the best driver to use on the virtual queue which will be compatible with all of the MFDs and allow use of the finishers? Thanks in advance!
plexer Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 wowsers that's going to be difficult if not impossible. Ben
nelliott Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Just what I thought... must solution I have thought of it a single MFD queue for the Sharp and then another queue for the Konica Minolta machines??
plexer Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Yes when you have devices with advanced features such as the finishers you really need all the ones available to the queue to be the same so you can use and advanced driver. I used to have different printers and I think used an HP driver but this was without needing advanced features. Ben
Chris_ Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Have you looked at using the PaperCut Global Print Driver? I haven't used it but it sounds like what you're after: Global Print Driver 1
nelliott Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 thanks @Chris_ will have a look at this tomorrow.
