Smoothwall Error - Google and ?'s in URLs

Afternoon Guys,

 

Anyone else having problems with accessing any google site that includes a ? if you have their force safe search turned on?

 

Going to Google redirects to Google and then breaks Guardian after applying Apply Enable Google SafeSearch [bETA], Force SafeSearch"

 

303 - See Other http://www.google.co.uk/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=vSXjVcXOJ8uq8wfD9b6oCg 

Error Error - , or } expected while parsing object/hash, at character offset 40 (before "old":"http://www.goo...") at /usr/share/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2/SmoothWall/Guardian/PolicyTester.pm line 401, <$fh> line 27. 

 

Turning off the Safesearch option works fine:

 

303 - See Other http://www.google.co.uk/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=vSXjVcXOJ8uq8wfD9b6oCg 
       New location: http://www.google.co.uk/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=vSXjVcXOJ8uq8wfD9b6oCg&safe=on

 

And if you try this for any google URL with a ? in the same seems to happen:

Don't suppose anyone knows a quick fix as can't exactly have entire Google down for people and you know people won't type HTTPS manually
