[sims] accessing simms on diferent network

Hi Simms is installed on the bursary network 9server 2008 r2 which is separate from our school cc4.5 network (server2012 r2)some of the bursary staff are moving into the main school but still need access to the simms, this is Tempory solution I m looking for as eventually all bursary staff will be on the school network at which point we will get simms migrated does anyone have any idea of what i can do. any help much appriciated

You would need to route between the 2 networks. A router would do the trick. If each LAN has Layer 3 switches you could also use these. This is really a networking question not a MIS question. Maybe a mod can move?

 

What does your network look like?
