St Paul's School, one of the country’s leading independent boys’schools, is looking to recruit a Network Manager. Working closely with theIT Manager (and deputising in his absence) the role includes responsibility to deliver IT Services throughout the school community which also includes St Paul’s preparatory school Colet Court.

 

The successful candidate will ideally be CCNA certified or working towards certification and have experience of managing a layer 3 Cisco network and IP telephone system. Experience of Virtualised Server networks, SAN Technologies and Aerohive wireless solution would also be desirable.

 

You will have proven experience of managing and supporting IT network and systems in a real time environment. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to support networks, operating systems, administration and curriculum systems, audio/visual systems and associated support systems including email, anti-virus and firewall. Previous experience within a school would be an advantage.

 

You will have a positive can do approach, be a problem solver, have excellent communication skills and be able to line manage a small team. Time management skills and meeting deadlines will be essential. This represents an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to work in a dynamic, high achieving organisation.
