Hi

We have had a users machine get infected with the crypto 2.0 ransom trojan. Does anybody know if I disconnect the machine from the network that was infected will this stop all the network shares (some that have got encrypted) from spreading, does it need that pc to be able to keep this infecting others servers/shares?

Thanks

Not sure but first thing is to disconect the infected machine. Good luck. Takes some work to recover from it even with a good backup system.
