Hi,

 

I'm looking into managing the schools printing more efficiently and would like to make it so all jobs sent to a printer by pupils is sent to staff and they will release it. I'm just wondering is there a way to exclude staffs work being sent to the release manager, i'd rather them automatically print work.

Yes, it's possible.

 

Within the staff account (under users) there's a button somewhere further down that can be checked to say do not hold users jobs in print release queue.

 

Edit: Within the user properties, tick Override printer/device settings and then choose Don't hold user's jobs in release station queues (always print immediately).

You can do it in bulk using the bulk update option too.
