Hi Guys,

I have tried to install HAP V10 a few times now and hit the same problem.

Any ideas? Http gives me this error:

Hi Nick,

I have indeed! Installed 3 times now and even reformatted server and followed the installation video from scratch but just getting 'page cannot be displayed'

Is it IIS8? Have you removed the (remove for IIS8) bits?

The error above is a result of not installing the .net 3.5 WCF bits for ASP.net

I have indeed. I followed your video on YouTube :) Yep its IIS 8 and Server 2012 R2

I think it was an issue with the Web.config not being recognised but now I just get 'Page cannot be displayed'

Ok, that's not going to tell me anything, can you install chrome or firefox on the server and try hap again, they may give more error information. IE tends to hide it

Ok yep its something to do with binding.

I created a new bind and it takes me to a HAP+ setup page but everything has a red X and its not displaying the page I'm expecting.

What should the bind information be?

Perfect. I've created a new bind for https and now HAP+ setup is loading :)

Just need to get around this problem now and should be good to go!

Ok, looks like you have deleted a lot of the live tiles from the homepage tab, you may want to delete the config and start again, or check the config has a load of tiles

Thanks Nick. May I say what a fantastic system you have made! It looks great!

Can anyone point me in the direction of how I now get this onto the internet?

Contact your ISP, you will need to get a domain name (can be a sub domain name, hap.school.lea.sch.uk). You will then need either a reverse proxy for that domain or dedicated IP.
