Exchange 2010 moderated distribution lists

Hi

 

I'm playing with moderated lists at the mo and am banging my head against a solid brick based object.

 

I have created a moderated distribution testing group with a couple of test members. In Mail Flow, I have setup my helpdesk account as the moderator and one of my team as a member who doesn't require message approval. I have sent a message to the list from my account (and I know the list is moderated as if I go to open the + button it tells me I can't as it's a moderated list) and it doesn't deliver (as per design) but the approval message never arrives in the moderators inbox.

 

If my team member sends a message, it delivers (as per design) and if I make myself a moderator it also delivers (again as per design)

 

So my question is - where the ^^&*&* does the authorise message go because I can't find it anywhere...

PS Exchange 2010 only so no issues routing through an Exchange 2003 Hub etc
