Set default audio device script (Powershell?)

Every time someone plugs in a screen using a display port, the speakers assume the monitor has speakers and defaults sound to the monitor. This is not the case and we would like the speakers to stay set as internal by default even when a screen is plugged in.

 

Any ideas?

 

Edit : Just to add, I would not like to use a software solution, A script/registry key would be preferable.

I was thinking that, but every time the monitor in unplugged/plugged in it re-appears.
