Windows 7 Starter ISO

Hi,

 

I am looking for an ISO for Windows 7 Starter Edition, can anyone help please?

 

I have a pile of netbooks with an licence and I am attempting to get the original OS back on these.

I was looking for one years ago but never found anything... the closest I got was some tool or instructions for editing a standard Windows 7 (maybe Enterprise) ISO to install it as Starter Edition, but it sounded like too much of a faff so I gave up with it...

As far as I'm aware Starter edition was only available to OEM and was never released as an ISO, there is a way to edit a file on any Windows 7 iso to allow you to install any version, there is a tool called ei.cfg Removal Utility that allows you to do it but whether it will give you Starter edition I have no idea

-edit- looks like that tool doesn't work anymore but you can just delete the ei.cfg file manually from the sources folder on the iso
