IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

from September 2015 to July 2016

 

The salary will be £14,368 per annum

for 36 hours per week, term time only

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual to play a crucial role in the support of the school’s IT systems. The role will suit a technically- minded individual who is willing to learn new skills. It will involve providing support to staff and students and assisting the IT technicians in maintaining the school’s IT facilities.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good level of IT literacy, a firm commitment to providing excellent customer support in a fast-paced environment, an ability to remain calm under pressure, excellent problem solving skills and an ability to learn technical skills quickly.

 

The post offers a chance to gain valuable hands-on IT work experience in a mid-sized organisation and would provide on-the-job training in Microsoft Active Directory, Office365, VM Virtual Servers, networking and software deployment, as well as a good sense of ITIL Service Delivery principles.

 

The hours would be 7.45 am to 3.30 pm on Mondays to Thursdays and 7.45 am to 3.15 pm on Fridays.
