nelliott Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I have a drive which is hosted on our SAN which is mapped to our file server, however, it is not visible when you open My Computer but can be found in Disk Management with an allocated drive letter. The drive in question can be navigated to successfully by entering the drive letter of file path into the address bar within my computer. Any ideas what has gone wrong?
Steve21 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Any idea what letter it's set under? I found if it's allocated a low one (e.g. D) it can sometimes be blocked by GPOs that are meant to apply to restricting Floppy/DVD etc. Steve
nelliott Posted June 1, 2015 Author Posted June 1, 2015 Thanks for the swift reply Steve. Its set to drive letter J: - i've checked my GPOs and there isn't any drive letter conflicts so am unsure what it could be
