Deploying Software Updates via a TS in SCCM2012 r2

Hi All,

 

Was wondering if anyone has come across this error: 0x80244010

 

We get this error when we try to deploy Windows updates (software updates) via a task sequence in SCCM 2012r2 (see attached) when building a new machine.

 

However on a live machine (one that isn't being built) it works fine via Software Center.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

have you tried adding 3 software updates steps to the task sequence?

Yes, we even added the Pause of 500 seconds.

Good old SCCM! If you really cant get a fix sorted drop me a PM with as much detail as possible and I will get our trainer to look at it for you.
