Has anyone tried to take one of these apart as ive got one that has a dying fan and so is really loud. If you have is it a relatively simple job to get in and replace/disable the fan or is it the sort of device designed to never be taken apart?

I've not encountered one yet, but i've had a quick look at the pdf. Is this a screw hole ? (as circled in red)
