Alternitive to smoothgallery

Hi,

 

I had to start from scratch with a standard joomla package as I could not get my me nu system to work in the edugeek one. I really liked the smooth gallery but the model seems to be no longer avalible for download.

 

Can any one suggest an alternitive one that does the same and works with joomla.

And possibly let me know what part of the code I need to change to make the bottom half as wide as the rest of the site? I managed to do the top part, but cant figure where to do the bottom.

Open the template_css.css file and look for:

 

div#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 968px;
padding-top: 18px;
}

 

And change the width to your required value.

Thanks, have done that but still it is deciding to stay the same. I thought it was that before, but askes because it made no difference :S

Humm that is the value that sets the width of the entire template. If you have made other changes to make the header wider this could be casuing problems.

I was wondering if I want to put some images in the very bottom dark blue section how could I do that?

Which module are you using for the images at the top? You normally can only use one instance on a page.

im using smoothgallery for the rotating images. But for the buttom I just want to use plain boring images which do nothing apart from be there

as an alternative has anyone looked at http://joomlacmssolutions.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 as smooth gallery seems to have little or no support now
