Asset Brand

Hello,

 

I was just wondering whether any of the EduGeeks out there had used the 'Asset Brand' tool from Security Label.co.uk

 

Asset Property Marking

 

It's a tool that uses heat and a thermal ribbon to 'brand' plastic parts of assets with a permanent security mark.

 

Looks like it might be a cleaner, less hassle alternative to Selectamark etc.

 

Would be grateful to hear any feedback.

My business manager wants some feedback from people who have used it though, I think she had visions of me melting things horribly with it!!

Hahahah, fair enough! I think you might need practice with it and you might get a couple of melty bits... just practice on an old laptop before doing shiny new ones! It won't get hot enough to actually burn a hole through something though I wouldn't have thought!
