ICT Technical Consultant – London and South of England *** URGENT ***

Up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus benefits (including Private Health).

 

Our client, an ICT consultancy company in the Education sector have an urgent requirement for an ICT Technical Consultant to work in an exciting technical solutions development role.

 

Developing ICT rich environments from the initial building design through to the technical implementation and beyond, you will work alongside construction partners through to school teams, providing technical advice on a range of ICT areas (listed below), before reporting your findings and recommendations in a variety of formats, including spreadsheets and specification documents.

 

· ICT building impact

· ICT strategy for Schools

· Infrastructure design (Passive & Active)

· Wireless (Heat Mapping)

· Network Management

· Server Solutions

· Telephony

· Apple, Android and Microsoft client solutions

· Mobile Device Management

· Project Management of ICT solutions

· Government compliant procurement

· IT process such as ITIL/FITS

 

 

You must be able to demonstrate a design competency in a wide range of infrastructure technologies, be presentable, personable and confident working alongside a wide range of technical and non-technical people.

 

You must also be able to drive and be willing to travel to sites across the UK, with the majority of clients located in London and the South of England.

There will also be numerous opportunities to work from home, to complete project work.

 

This position would suit a technical consultant or senior engineer with experience of the Education sector.
