fiza Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Like the title suggest is anyone using this file optimisation software? Anyone heard of it? Compress PDF, Microsoft Office & JPEG files with NXPowerLite
robk Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Looked at it, but the cost was quite high for the space it was going to create. Check out the product pricing before going too far....
fiza Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Looked at it, but the cost was quite high for the space it was going to create. Check out the product pricing before going too far.... Been offered a very cheap price compared to the standard pricing. It's a per server price too not a per TB price. When you looked at it what did you think?
robk Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 We didn't go too far as we were quoted a per Tb price which was very high.... £300 quid might have been worth trying but when we went for purchase it came out much more than that as they had changed the pricing structure! I canned the plan and brought more disc instead. Would be interested in knowing what your pricing is like (take to pm by all means).
Chris_ Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I had an email from them today offering licensing per server at £395 regardless of volume of data. I ran the analysis tool on our two file servers and the savings it could make were quite substantial.
DrCheese Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 So did anyone end up purchasing this? I'm busy trying to squeeze as much as I can out of out current storage & looking for solutions to save space from un-needed files. Bit wary about modifying users files tho!
