Fireworks Error on OSX

Mac On 10.8.2

Fireworks Version 12.0.0.236 CS6

 

Home Folders\Library Redirected to SMB:\\server\Users$ AD Home Directories

 

Error Adobe Fireworks Quit Unexpectedly

 

If the User has Lunched Fireworks in the past and has a Library folder in their user area it works perfectly. If it’s a new student they get the error Above. If the Macs are set to Force Local in Ad settings fireworks does not error but then the users are then saving locally.

 

Updated Macs to Mavericks with the same error and yosemite.

 

We believe this is down to permissions problem but all users have the same rights to their own user folder. As a domain admin with no Library folder created fireworks loads just fine.

 

Using google as we all do I have come up with nothing. Been a long time browser of Edu geek if you guys could help out I would owe you one.

This was down to Permission problems on the Student home directories Folders.

 

Applying Permissions did not work until we changed the location of there home directories then the mac could create all files needed.
