COM Surrogate has stopped woring....

Hi All,

 

I get this message whenever I open a folder that contains video files that I have downloaded from iPads. Message is "COM Surrogate has stopped working". When I try to play the video file it says windows media player has crashed. It does play with VLC player. Then the folder automatically closes each time I open it.. I have checked online but no luck.

 

Any advise is welcome. Thanks in advance..
