Adobe has released a brand new version of Reader, but it's now called Acrobat Reader like it used to be 11-12 years ago.

DC, it turns out, is "Document Cloud".

 

Anyone know if there are any big show stoppers with it yet, e.g. sandbox mode not working with UNC paths? (That was Reader X, IIRC.)

I dont have any issues here....we moved to foxit pdf reader

If you have Adobe Customization Wizard 11 installed, the default behaviour of the DC customization wizard is to say "hey, you've already got this installed, I'm not going to do anything".

 

And then it chokes on the DC msis until you uninstall the 11 version of the wizard and re-run the DC wizard installer.

 

Anyone discovered if this breaks Sage (encrypted payslips) yet?
