genesis Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) Hi One of our staff have a RSI on the index finger. Can you suggest a suitable mouse so that index finger can be stopped using. Thanks Edited April 2, 2015 by genesis
edmokeski Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 3M make a USB "Ergonomic Mouse" that's shaped a bit like an old joystick, with a rocker on top that you use your thumb on to simulate left and right clicks. I used one for a while when I had a similar problem. It was reasonably helpful, but slightly annoying in that it's righty-only. Now instead, I use a ambidextrous mouse and swap regularly between hands (and spend a lot less time gaming on the computer after hours since I've had kids). 3M Ergo: £42.38 @ Dabs My current solution: Logitech M510 £25.51 @ Dabs
tobiasclarity Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I currently use the Logitech MX Revolution, just checked the settings for you, you can set the side buttons as right and left click so they can use their thumb instead
