Games in Python

Hi All,

 

Of course we are now teaching students how to code and this has been followed by a steep increase in off topic content. The main one for us at the moment is games that run within Python.

 

Any way that I can block a certain python script from running without blocking Python altogether?

No. Anything you do can be worked around - trivially by simply renaming the script. When you allow people to program, you just can't tell automagically if the code is a "game". Being on task is a teaching and learning issue, not really a technical one.
