RabbieBurns Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 We are maintaining multiple systems where users are having to be recreated manually. Some systems we have managed to get them to 'sync' the user accounts (eg from our SMS to our LMS), but we have to manually create users in AD, in our SMS, and in our Financial System. Some of our systems support LDAP so we can use the same credentials, and some we have implemented SSO (eg from Moodle to GoogleDocs), and there is also some bespoke systems for eg Office365 (cut down FIM) Im looking at a bunch of vendors to pull this all together for us, probably using FIM, but have any of you implemented a similar structure before? What did you use?
iom100 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'm also looking at a similar requirement, so will follow with interest.
psydii Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 SIMS is the source of all identities. EasyTrace pulls out from sims for several of our systems and puts mifare into AD. Salamander for AD provisioning. Everything else then points to AD/LDAP. Going to add Azure Active Directory Sync services later on this year to provide oAuth and Google Apps provisioning. 1
