SCCM 2012 - Task Seq questions

Hi guys,

I am currently building several different images for a couple of Dell laptops. When I apply my .wim in the task sequence and choose 1-1, it fails. When I change that settings to 2-2 it builds without a problem. Can anyone explain why / or what this setting does? I believe it creates a system reserved partition? But why wont it build on 1-1?

The 2-2 is a reference to your WIM file and where the actual image is on it. As you can have multiple images within 1 WIM. So it's likely 1-1 on your WIM isn't a valid image.
