denzal2k4 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 So Apple store has been down most of today as has icloud Totally not smug and gloating...
mthomas08 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Strange, we have been looking at Office 365 Live and I started questioning this "Online" reliance. Although I know you can download PC/Mac - Office 365 constantly reminds me I can. Just got me thinking again that when they go down you are potentially screwed.
ForgotMyPassword Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Yep...I've been desperate to get a couple of apps pushed out via the VPP today and this has screwed with those plans a treat. It's true, it doesn't happen often, but when it does a cloud service going down REALLY causes grief.
rich_tech Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I noticed it this afternoon as I was updating our school ipads on a quieter day for them since they went live and itunes and the mac App store just refused to log me in for about 4 hours, despite nothing being wrong with the apple IDs. Only one app to update so it avoided a major headache thankfully on both stores.
denzal2k4 Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Being so heavily reliant on iPads here we have a cache server setup so luckily it didn't actually affect us that much but still...
