BYOD mobile device management? Installing a SSL certificate

Wondering if anyone can advise me the best way to manage out mobile devices,

Im wanting the best way is to send a SSL Certificate to our devices , we need to install this for users to be able to access secure pages on their devices.

 

Lately I have been using Apple configurator, attaching the devices to my PC and installing the certificate that way but this is not suitable for BYOD or Guest devices.

I have been looking at Meraki MDM ( I think we will use this for devices in school) and it looks great but can you deploy certificates to devices through this?

You can use the Certificates payload on the Meraki MDM to push out SSL certificates. But i think you are probably still required to enroll the devices which might be a problem for BYOD or Guest Devices. Perhaps an easier alternative is to host the SSL cert on your intranet and then direct the devices to that URL. You can install Profiles directly that way.
