*** Salary £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience (plus benefits) ***

This is a full time position (36 hours per week)

Our client, a large Secondary School & Sixth Form College in North East London, who has invested heavily in technology to support the Media Arts with a substantial number of OS X devices, Adobe Creative Cloud, a well equipped theatre, mobile AV, large hall presentation systems and two photography suites has an urgent requirement for a Senior Technician to join their existing team, to provide high quality IT Service and Support to the school.

 

You will be responsible for maintainingreliability across a wide range of services and platforms, so a broad and deeptechnical experience and flexibility would be advantageous and with over1,700 users, it is essential that you have a friendly manner with strongorganisational, problem solving and communication skills. You must alsobe confident, competent and most importantly be charismatic with a “can do”attitude.

 

A Windows 2012R2 Server/SCCM infrastructure lies at the core of the service on top of vSphere 5.5 with a HP Procurve Switch infrastructure providing layer 2 and 3.

 

Other technologies include – OS X, BYOD, MDM, iOS Devices / iPad, MerakiWireless, Exchange 2013, Sharepoint, Lync, SQL Server, Powershell, VEEAM, TCP/IP, Network ACLs, NAT, Wireshark, Office 365, Azure AD, Sophos
