Layout issue when adding new group

Im trying to add another group for 6th form students but when I do the whole layout gets messed up and displays all the links on one page rather than in tabs.

If if I remove the extra tab then it returns to normal.

 

This is the same no matter who logs on (student, teacher or admin)

 

Any ideas?

Looks to be removing the Me tab, check the hapConfig.xml file. Also you can't use ' or " in the tab name

If you can put the link group in, then add some links to that group, save and then paste the homepage section of the hapConfig.xml file

Can you move the Me group to the very end of the links section, everything else looks ok.
