Cross posting this here as I'm after some feedback. I am looking for a new job and have written a Javascript chatbot application which I will share with the staff here to act as my replacement when I leave as a farewell joke.

I was wondering whether anyone who is adept with Javascript or coding in general could take a look over my code and point out any areas for improvement (structure, techniques etc.) as I am self taught and don't have any commercial experience but am keen to improve.

If this could stay in development I imagine it could become a genuinely useful resource!

It's just a toy at the moment.. even with lots and lots and lots of work on the intelligence side of things I still think it would cause most users more frustration than it solved.. Could maybe be converted into a more interesting than usual front end for a support ticketing system though...

I just came across this which looks like it might be interesting for on the fly speech generation in a later iteration...

Or it'd evolve into true A.I and take over the world after having to deal with stupid questions all day...

I, for one, welcome our new sarcastic A.I overlords.
