Fans who grew up with the Power Rangers in the 90s are well into their twenties now - just about old enough to be allowed to watch a newly released incredibly dark, R-rated fantasy reboot.

 

The 14-minute 'bootleg' film stars a scar-faced and robotic-limbed James Van Der Beek as a traitorous former Red Ranger, interrogating the last surviving member of the of the Power Rangers after the rest of the team have been brutally murdered.

 

The highly graphic film, titled Power/Ranger, is the work of film producer Adi Shankar and directed by music video director Joseph Kahn, who has made videos for U2, Taylor Swift, Gwen Stefani, Eminem, Mariah Carey and Muse. (Source)
