_Ben Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 It's always been a somewhat believable 'conspiracy theory' that hard drives and other devices were being manipulated in transit or via malware, but Kaspersky have released a report on this very thing happening and being documented. So far they have found over 500 machines with this malware installed on the hard drive controller, with 5 being resistant to re-formatting. What's interesting is that the 'Equation Group' seem to have unlimited funding and manpower for their feats...
