[wanted] Old Aruba Access Points

We're doing a full replacement of our wireless system in 2016, but until then i need a couple of old access points that no one sells any more in order to sort some extra coverage.

 

Because they'll only be wanted for a year and are so old I'm hoping some generous school will be practically giving them away, or as cheap as possible. Our Aruba Controller is a 3200 (Not XM) with software version 6.1.3.6 and we're stuck on that due to not having an active support contract anymore, so the model needs to work under that version. The newest (lol) APs we have at the moment are AP-93 model. Anyone have any of those?

I don't understand the last question based on the lack of information prior to it

 

We have AP61 and AP93 access points at the moment, so if they're either of those models (ideally the latter) or any in between in terms of age, then they'd definitely be what we're after! (The AP93s are round...well almost square, a funny shape really)

 

Are you after anything for them? We can pay for the postage costs of course if you're happy to do it that way!

It occurred to me after posting my reply that we might not have the access point that you want. I didn't want to just delete the reply. I haven't had time to check what we have yet as they are still mounted (unused) in classrooms. I will check for you as soon as I can. What we have are definitely round. They resemble these quite closely:

Ok that's quite close resemblence to the 93s, they look like this:

Let me know what model they are anyway as i'll check if they come under the supported APs list, never know, they might still be of use!

Would almost certainly take 10 x AP93's off your hands! I shall report back tomorrow after i've spoken to some people here (any estimates on how much it would cost to post 10 x ap93s?)
