The only notable change that I can see is that Schoolcomms was added to the list of suppliers who have completed the checklist, though I skimmed it. They didn't even bother to put a revised date in the document.

Edit: I compared the two, that is the only change.

There is a certain amount of crossover on this with the IMLS framework, which also already covers these areas for where systems are hosted (private cloud). The IMLS framework runs until 2016 so there will be some suppliers who do not move onto the DfE list for some time, but other suppliers will be adding their response in due course.

:bump: This document has been revised and republished this week. As far as I can make out, the only change is to add Redstor

I agree, I wish they would publish a summary of amendments at the same time to make it clearer.

There are several reasons why you don't get a change / revision control with many public docs from the Gov't ... ranging from that standard method of only using version/review control for internal consumption might be not to do it for *all* docs in a particular section of a department (reducing the chances of something going out with it in by accident), that the documents are amended so frequently that it becomes an administrative overhead (at that point they usually refer you to where you can get the present list of x instead of having in the document ... but that takes time to build up) or simply that they want you to re-read the whole document again.

Only a cynic would say that it is so that you don't know what else has changed. Politicians and Civil Servants would never do that.
