Keyboard Layout Problem!!!

Hi all,

 

right I have an sisue with a USB keyboard on a laptop which is frying my head!!!!

 

on the intial login screen the symbols on the keyboard are in the correct order, however once logged in the symbol layout changes in windows 8

 

I dont understand it at all and have tried both English US and UK layout and ensured the region of the laptop is set to UK with no effect, it always changes on logged in.

 

If I use the keyboard on the laptp it is perfectly fine!

 

Anyone have a clue?

Is this for one user or all users? If it is just for one delete the profile (after backing up any important data) and the get the user to log on. If it is for all users log on to the locally and set the keyboard to UK in there and then try.
