tscnmuk Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I have a hopefully easy to solve problem that I can't remember for the life of me how to resolve. I installed Microsoft Exchange onto a new server but installed it alongside our existing setup as an additional server. The server was only ever used for testing purposes and never had any mailboxes or anything stored on it. Hence - when I was finished testing I simply reformatted the server. Now the server still exists in Exchange System Manager as I never properly decomissioned it. Is there any way to easily get rid of it as it physically doesn't exist anymore. Thanks Tom
rehanahmeds Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 which version of exchange and windows u r using and also if u can tell service packs u r using???
rehanahmeds Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 if current server is running perfectly and it just the icon which is showing then i guess just leave it as it is... otherwise its a good idea before decomissioning taking the server offline for few days....
